Final Media Player 2 will install to your Start menu and your desktop. When opened, the application appears in one window, with main controls available below the playback monitor. The controls allow you to play, pause, stop, fast forward, rewind, scrub through, and skip the video or audio file you are playing; you can also quickly mute all audio by clicking on the mute button located at the bottom of the control panel. Playlists can be accessed by clicking on the "Open" button located at the top of the control panel and browsing to the file location. The top menu will also allow you to load new files from your computer, change the settings, view the name of the file being played, and quit the program.
